A New Jersey Landmark completed
in 1907, Shadowbrook hosted its first social function in 1941.
It was acquired in 1971 by the renowned Zweben family, who bring
over a century of combined experience to Shadowbrook.
Robert Zweben, the current owner,
is the third generation of this family of restauranteurs and
caterers. A graduate of the acclaimed Cornell Hotel and Restaurant
School, Robert has operated Shadowbrook for the past 30 years
with his wife Ronnie, and the success of this husband-and-wife
team is evident in every finely tuned detail of Shadowbrook.
The mansion is a showplace of museum-quality
art and antiques from around the world. As you enter Shadowbrook,
it is as if you've taken a step back in time; the furnishings
and chandeliers, even the stairwells and ceilings each have
a remarkable history all its own. The Zwebens have one simple
approach to maintaining excellence at the mansion - they insist
on absolute, uncompromising top quality.
